Thirty Arizona companies ranked among the top 1,000 companies on the prestigious 2025 Inc. 5000 list.

A total of 137 Arizona-based companies made this year’s Inc. 5000 list, which ranks the fastest-growing private companies in America.

The fastest-growing company in the Grand Canyon State was Phoenix-based Skylab Digital (No. 103, 3,313% growth), a lead generation company for the insurance industry. It was followed by Tempe’s Cazvid (No. 104, 3,309% growth), Scottsdale’s TopDog Law (No. 149, 2,628% growth), Tucson’s Secure Investment Management (No. 158, 2,477% growth) and Scottsdale’s Sleepyhead (No. 213, 1,789% growth).

Sleepyhead, which makes mattress toppers, ranks No. 1 in the state for growth in the retail industry, as well as No. 4 nationally in the retail category.

“It’s incredibly rewarding to see hard work pay off, especially in a seasonal business where it’s all grit and grind,” said Steven Van Alen, Sleepyhead founder and CEO in a statement. “I’m proud of the three team members who’ve been with me for over a year; growing 1,700% isn’t easy. But the work never stops — now it’s back to learning new things and tackling bigger challenges.”

However, the 2025 rankings reflect a drastic drop-off from 2024 when Scottsdale-based software firm Lessen scored No. 2 on the Inc. 5000 list with a 45,603% growth rate, marking the second year in a row that an Arizona company landed in the top 10.

Beyond the top five fastest growing Arizona companies, seven registered growth above 1000%. They were No. 256 7th Level of Scottsdale, No. 273 Supra Human of Scottsdale, No. 278 Meade Engineering of Scottsdale, No. 309 Bluetail of Scottsdale, No. 330 Inty Power of Tempe, No. 371 ARM5 Formula of Chandler, and No. 384 Well & Good Professional Services of Scottsdale.
